Narragansett had won five straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 13-4 to make it six. They blew past the Classical Purple 12-1. The win continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Purple: they've now won five in a row.

As for Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Classical's part, Olivia Martins was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases. Martins has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
