Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends North Forsyth's Winning Streak

After a string of nine wins, North Forsyth's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pace Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

While North Forsyth ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Despite the loss, North Forsyth saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lyla Jane Craft had ten digs.

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Pace Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, North Forsyth and Pace Academy will both be playing Woodward Academy the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
