Cardinal Mooney extended their  winning streak to three games  thanks to a huge performance from  Jamaal George. The Cardinal Mooney Cougars blew past Gulf Coast HEAT 81-50  on Thursday thanks in part to  George, who  went 6 of 8  en route to 16 points in addition to eight  assists and five  steals. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  assists.
 Another player making a difference was  Jayden Barnett, who  went 8 for 9  on his way to 15  points and five  boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for three straight games.
 Despite the loss, Gulf Coast HEAT still got an impressive performance from   Westin Lacey, who  went 6 of 9  en route to 18 points. Lacey is  on a roll when it comes to  points, as he's  now  scored 17 or more in the last five games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Steven Scott, who  posted eight points along with seven  rebounds and three  blocks.
Cardinal Mooney's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
