There's no place like home for Huntley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cary-Grove Trojans on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won nine in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Huntley took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Summer Massow and Lucy Watson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Abby Whitehouse and her eight assists. Mia Jacobelli controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Huntley's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cary-Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Huntley will challenge Jacobs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cary-Grove, they will square off against Glenbard West at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
