Ripon is a perfect 8-0 against Livingston since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Ripon Indians will be playing at home against the Livingston Wolves at 3:30 p.m. Ripon has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
While Ripon's win against Tokay wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Ripon had just enough and edged out Tokay 14-12. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Angelina Martinez made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Mikayla Dietrich was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-5. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season. Addison Naranjo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.
Ripon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Livingston's offense. They lost 9-0 to Mountain House on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since March 26, 2024.
Ripon picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Livingston, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Ripon's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's contest. Ripon has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Livingston, though, as they've been averaging only 0.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Ripon continue to outrun the ball?
Ripon was able to grind out a solid victory over Livingston in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-1. Does Ripon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Livingston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
