Meesha Neujahr made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Oasis got a massive performance out of Emma Neujahr, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Neujahr has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn McGee, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4.
Oasis' victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Gateway Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oasis will challenge Babcock at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trailblazers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sharks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gateway Charter, they will take on LaBelle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
