After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Don Lugo, Diamond Ranch was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They came out on top against the Chino Cowboys by a score of  6-3. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cowboys  on April 4th, they had to take a  18-8  loss.

 Izel Avalos was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Olivia Jauregui was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI.  Emma Ramirez also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Diamond Ranch pushed their record up to 14-9 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Chino,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-12.
 Looking ahead, Diamond Ranch will venture away from home to  take on Montclair  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak. As for Chino, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Ontario  at 3:30  p.m.
