It was a good run, but the Norwell Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-36 loss at the hands of Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Norwell has scored all season.
Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Muldoon, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. Muldoon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kellen Pickett, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds.
Norwell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwell will be home for the holidays to greet DeKalb at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (DeKalb is ranked 160th, while Norwell is ranked 185th). As for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
