San Joaquin Memorial moved up to 332 from 460 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in County/Metro. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of a 23-0 win over Sunnyside.
Sanger took down Reedley 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
San Joaquin Memorial's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Kinder threw for 90 yards and Jesus Lozano had 39 yards receiving. On the ground Lozano chipped in 55 yards. Noah Padilla helped San Joaquin Memorial's passing attack out by catching two balls for 24 yards.
San Joaquin Memorial's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kinder has thrown for 581 yards and one touchdown this season, while Padilla has 13 catches for 143 yards. Lozano leads the league in rushing with 288 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Edison takes on the Apaches. The Tigers are in third place, while Sanger is in first place.
Bullard led County/Metro in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on Hoover.
