Meanwhile, East Hill Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 37-21 bruising from Gulf Pointe Latin. East Hill Christian has struggled against Gulf Pointe Latin recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Tate's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for East Hill Christian, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
