Marionville was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Spokane on Monday. Marionville blew past Spokane 21-1. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won six in a row.

Annaliyah Ghan was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Brooklyn Holder was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Spokane, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Marionville has already played their next game, a 10-4 win against Reeds Spring on the 25th. As for Spokane, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 29-19 victory against Galena on the 25th.
