CENTRALIA, Mo. -
Centralia (Mo.) notched eight points on top of its 42-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against South Shelby (Shelbina, Mo.) 50-0.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Zach Etzler in the first quarter, the Panthers led 29-0 at the half.
Centralia grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Cullen Ralphs.
Gannon Peavler and Etzler ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Cardinals. Peavler scored two touchdowns on the ground and Etzler added two as well.
The loss was the third in a row for South Shelby.
In a Clarence Cannon game next week Centralia (3-1) takes on Brookfield, and South Shelby (1-3) will go up against Monroe City also in a Clarence Cannon game.
