Lone Star enjoyed a cozy 48-30 win over Union Colony Prep on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lone Star also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Aleighcea Kuntz was the offensive standout of the matchup as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimee Trejo, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Lone Star's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Union Colony Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Lone Star is on the road again on Saturday and play against Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Union Colony Prep, they will face off against Denver Waldorf at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
