The Kennedale Wildcats came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Hillsboro as Kennedale made off with a 53-28 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kennedale also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Hillsboro's loss came despite strong showings from Callie Tucker and Charlee Mack. Tucker scored 12 points along with five steals, while Mack scored nine points along with eight rebounds. Mack scored a full 32.1% of Hillsboro's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Even though they lost, Hillsboro were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Kennedale's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Hillsboro, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-14.
