The Keystone Wildcats put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Cuyahoga Heights by a score of 40-28. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Keystone has scored all year.
Keystone's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Helayna Houston, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Jessica Forthofer was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Keystone pushed their record up to 10-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cuyahoga Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
Keystone will head out on the road to face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Columbia's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Independence at 6:45 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
