Hogan Prep Charter was the  18-14 winner over St. Mary's Academy when they last played one another  back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams took a hard  22-6 fall against the Crusaders on Saturday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 St. Mary's Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Thomas Schmitt led the charge by rushing for 129 yards on only 13 carries, while also catching one  score.  Jacob Beaulieu was another key player, rushing for 21 yards and one  touchdown.
Hogan Prep Charter now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Mary's Academy, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Coming up, Hogan Prep Charter will head out to  take on Lone Jack/Kingsville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for St. Mary's Academy, they will take on Butler at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
