The Lexington Minutemen's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-32 victory over Fisher. The victory was just what Lexington needed coming off of a 65-44 defeat in their prior match.
Several Bunnies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paige Hott, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Lexington's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13. As for Fisher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Lexington will stay at home for another game and welcome Fieldcrest at 12:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Fisher will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against El Paso-Gridley at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
