Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plano). They never let the Johnsburg Skyhawks get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Reapers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Plano got a massive performance out of Jason Phillips, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Phillips has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jake Dixon, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.

Plano's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Johnsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plano will host Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Reapers are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Johnsburg, they will challenge Woodstock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Skyhawks will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Blue Streaks will have lost four straight heading into Monday's contest.
