Weaver is 0-3 against Desert Chapel since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Weaver Monarchs on the road again and play against the Desert Chapel Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Weaver, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-27 loss to Noli Indian.
Meanwhile, Desert Chapel lost to Palm Valley at home by a decisive 50-32 margin on Thursday.
Weaver's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Desert Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Weaver suffered a grim 54-28 defeat to Desert Chapel in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Weaver avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
