The contest between Glenville-Emmons and Mabel-Canton wasn't particularly close, with Glenville-Emmons falling 70-55. Glenville-Emmons was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mabel-Canton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Cayden Tollefsrud was on fire for Mabel-Canton: he dropped a double-double on 40 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Snell, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals.
Glenville-Emmons' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Mabel-Canton, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Glenville-Emmons will head out on the road to face off against Houston at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Houston focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday. As for Mabel-Canton, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Rushford-Peterson at 5:15 p.m.
