There's no place like home for the Red Mountain Mountain Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Rincon/University on Tuesday as Red Mountain made off with a 77-51 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Red Mountain also won the last time the pair played back in February.
It was another big night for Cade Rothlisberger, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Conor Doka, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
The win got Red Mountain back to even at 2-2. As for Rincon/University, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Mountain will square off against Combs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Combs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Red Mountain likes a good challenge. As for Rincon/University, they will head out on the road to face off against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
