It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Homestead had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They managed a 56-52 win over the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Fort Wayne Wayne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyree Eldridge, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was HJ Dillard, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Homestead's record now sits at 21-5. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Coming up, Homestead will take on Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on March 15th. One thing working in Homestead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Fort Wayne Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
