The Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pleasant Hill 79-42 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for Greenfield/Northwestern as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Greenfield/Northwestern to victory were Dylan Pembrook and Garrett Costello. Pembrook scored 17 points, while Costello scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pembrook has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Talon Albrecht, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
The win got Greenfield/Northwestern back to even at 10-10. As for Pleasant Hill, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield/Northwestern on the road again on Tuesday and play against Staunton at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Pleasant Hill, they will challenge Barry Western at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
