The Reading Rangers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Maple Valley at home to the tune of 63-7. That 56 points margin sets a new team best for Reading this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reading to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maggie Santure, who scored 12 points along with six steals and two blocks. Santure is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubree Ervans, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Reading's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Maple Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reading will challenge Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
