Liberty Union lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Williams, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tomas Winter, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Liberty Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Teays Valley, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Union will challenge New Hope Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Teays Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 746th, while Teays Valley is ranked 145th).
