Butler put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 57-38 victory over the Grovetown Warriors. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Warriors are ranked 78th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Butler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayla Harris, who went 9 of 20 on her way to 23 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rania Curry, who posted 11 points along with seven assists and five boards.

Despite the loss, Grovetown still got an impressive performance from Asunti Porter, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 19 points. Porter has been hot, having posted 17 or more points the last six times she's played. Jordan Cavalier was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Butler pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Grovetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Butler and Cherokee will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 26th. One thing working in Cherokee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Grovetown will take on Warner Robins in a holiday battle at at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Warner Robins will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Grovetown surely won't give up without a fight.
