The Warner Christian Academy Eagles lost against the Christ's Church Academy Eagles back in February of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Warner Christian Academy received a tough blow as they fell 64-48 to Christ's Church Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Warner Christian Academy in their matchups with Christ's Church Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaden South, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Kayleb Goolsby was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
It was another big night for Jackson Hadden, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds for Christ's Church Academy. Hadden is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 17 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Simms, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Warner Christian Academy dropped their record down to 8-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Christ's Church Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.
Warner Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Taylor at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for Christ's Church Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against KIPP Bold City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
