Hillcrest Lutheran Academy took a 22-point loss the last time they faced off against Brandon/Evansville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets skirted past the Brandon/Evansville Chargers 59-56. The win was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brandon/Evansville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will head out on the road to face off against Ada-Borup/Norman County West at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ada-Borup/Norman County West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Hillcrest Lutheran Academy likes a good challenge. As for Brandon/Evansville, they will be home for the holidays to greet PACT Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
