It was a good run, but the Parker Thundering Herd unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a tough 76-55 loss at the hands of Fairfield. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parker in their matchups with Fairfield: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Parker still got an impressive performance from Nathen Henley, who scored 22 points. Henley continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Sterling, who scored 12 points.
Parker's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fairfield, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Parker will play host again and welcome Wenonah, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wenonah has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three contests. Fairfield won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Auburn at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. Auburn will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
