South Guilford HomeSchool relied on the efforts of Kourtney Bullins, who scored 17 points along with three blocks, and Kassidy Bullins, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 rebounds. The match was Bullins' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kailey Bullins, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Asheboro Hybrid Academy with points to spare, taking the game 46-28. Given Faith Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Asheboro Hybrid Academy is ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
South Guilford HomeSchool pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Faith Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
South Guilford HomeSchool didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Faith Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 34-30 victory.
