Point Pleasant won the last time they faced Scott and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Big Blacks came out on top against the Skyhawks by a score of 2-0.

Point Pleasant not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Scott to exactly 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Macy Taylor paced Point Pleasant's offense, picking up six kills. Taylor got some help from Abby Woodall and her six assists. Chloe Patrick controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Point Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Scott, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Point Pleasant has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Huntington on the 26th. As for Scott, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Logan at 6:00 p.m. on September 22.
