The Wausa Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Creighton Bulldogs on Tuesday. Wausa will be strutting in after a victory while Creighton will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Wausa's game was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Boyd County by a score of 36-29.
Wausa got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cashe Carlson out in front who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Brady Bloomquist was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Creighton had to suffer through a rough 62-31 loss at the hands of West Holt. Creighton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Plainview's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Wausa's defeat dropped theirs to 0-1.
Wausa skirted past Creighton 45-42 in their previous matchup back in February. Does Wausa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Creighton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
