Crowley's loss came despite strong showings from Alaysia Arvie and D'Zyree Thorne. Arvie scored 11 points along with three steals, while Thorne scored no points. That was a full 52.4% of Crowley's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Crowley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for St. Martinville, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road.
