The Rockport-Fulton Pirates were the 53-52 winner over the Sinton Pirates when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Rockport-Fulton took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sinton on Friday.
Rockport-Fulton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Annika Guerrero, who scored nine points along with six rebounds, and Camryn Brown who scored two points.
Rockport-Fulton has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. As for Sinton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-17.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing West Oso the next time they take the court. Sinton will head out to face West Oso at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rockport-Fulton will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
