Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Southwest Christian Academy Lions, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 32-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cross Christian Academy on Friday. Southwest Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cross Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Thomas Stewart threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Dominic Ferguson was his top target, picking up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Southwest Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Cross Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Southwest Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cross Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
