Dunnellon is a perfect 10-0 against Weeki Wachee since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Dunnellon will be strutting in after a win while Weeki Wachee will be coming in after a loss.
Dunnellon had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Seven Rivers Christian on Wednesday. The Tigers blew past the Warriors 14-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Kayla Bordelon was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
