Iola lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Wellsville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Mustangs came out on top against the Eagles on Tuesday by a score of 13-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Iola pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Wellsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Iola will have a chance to go back-to-back against Wellsville: the pair will be back at it again later today.
