After a string of four wins, Southeastern's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Pell City Panthers by a score of 3-2.

Southeastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Moon, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Pell City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

Southeastern has already played their next match, a 5-2 defeat against Hokes Bluff on the 29th. As for Pell City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 win against St. Clair County on the 29th.
