After a dominant victory in their matchup last week, Pleasant Grove was humbled on Friday. They fell to Syracuse 27-14. Pleasant Grove was down by 27-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Bridger Hamblin had a stellar game for Syracuse as he passed for 285 yards and four TDs. Hamblin has been a consistent playmaker for Syracuse as this was the 11th good game in a row from him. Hamblin has never finished with more yards this season. Samuel Adams was in the mix, too, providing the Titans with two touchdowns.
The losing side was boosted by Rex Connors, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD on three carries.
Pleasant Grove does not have any more games currently scheduled. Syracuse will look to defend their home turf next week against Corner Canyon at 6 p.m. ET. The Titans will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Corner Canyon will be their toughest opponent yet.
