Volleyball Recap: Trinity Academy Takes Down Southeast of Saline in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Trinity Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Southeast of Saline Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

While Trinity Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Audrey Smith paced Trinity Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Smith got some help from Grace Barrett and her ten assists.

Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Southeast of Saline, they dropped their record down to 11-25 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Trinity Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Smoky Valley on the 20th. As for Southeast of Saline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Garden Plain on the 20th.
