Forest Grove took care of business in their home opener. They enjoyed a cozy 33-13 win over Putnam.
Meanwhile, Wilson had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 13-34 walloping at South Eugene's hands.
Forest Grove's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Wilson's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Forest Grove can add another positive mark to their record or if Wilson can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Forest Grove's step.
