The St. Pauls Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a rough 51-29 loss at the hands of West Bladen. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Pauls has scored all season.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyson Thompson, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
West Bladen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Williams out in front who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hezekiah Adams, who scored 16 points.
St. Pauls has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for West Bladen, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pauls will take on Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Bladen, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. Fairmont is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
