The West Branch Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Alliance Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in West Branch's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
West Branch blew Howland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Howland got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 12-10.
Jaimi Mossgrove put in work while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Mossgrove was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Sara Schmidt also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Alliance, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against Carrollton by a score of 10-7 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Aviators as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Like West Branch, Alliance also got a great game from a two-way player: Peyton Graham. Throwing, Graham pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Meanwhile, Lilly White pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Graham went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while White went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. West Branch hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like Alliance struggles in that department as they've averaged .312. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
West Branch skirted past Alliance 4-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aviators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
