The Freedom Patriots were the 76-46 winner over the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Freedom fell 58-47 to East Stroudsburg North on Thursday. Freedom has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Stroudsburg North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryceson Dobie, who scored 31 points. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Wilder, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Freedom has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for East Stroudsburg North, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Freedom will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Phillipsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Phillipsburg has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matches. East Stroudsburg North and Port Jervis will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Port Jervis is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
