Largo is 1-9 against Dunedin since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Packers will take on the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Largo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Largo was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over St. Petersburg.

Brady Ahlers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Riley Lube, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, while it was Dunedin who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Sickles who put up more. The Falcons fell just short of the Gryphons by a score of 7-6. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dunedin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demetris Tsesmelis, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs were Tsesmelis' first of the season. Another was Aiden Sherifi, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Largo's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Dunedin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Dunedin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Largo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Dunedin, though, as they've only averaged .329. Will they be able to contain Largo's hitters?

Largo might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Dunedin when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Packers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
