Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Lee-Scott Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Lions 11-9. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Braden Martin tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those hits marked the first that he allowed this season.

Lee-Scott Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-10. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-5.
Looking ahead, Lee-Scott Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Marbury at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will square off against South Paulding at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.8, the Spartans 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
