Glenbrook South has gone 9-1 against Maine South recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Hawks at 5:00 p.m.

Glenbrook South is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Barrington, who was ranked 17th at the time (Glenbrook South was ranked 22nd). The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fillies/Broncos on Wednesday.

Glenbrook South was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Maine South waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Trevians by a score of 2-0.

While Maine South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Maine South's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Glenbrook South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season.
