Fort Cobb-Broxton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They snuck past Binger-Oney with a 39-34 win.
Meanwhile, Canute can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They blew past Calumet 63-16 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Canute has posted yet this season.
Fort Cobb-Broxton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Canute, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.
Fort Cobb-Broxton took their win against Canute when the teams last played back in January of 2019 by a conclusive 63-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Cobb-Broxton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
