Newark Memorial took down Washington on Wednesday, a win that might not have happened without Connor Murphy's effort. Murphy went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Murphy's strong effort led Newark Memorial over Washington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long.
