Victory Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Oasis Christian. Considering the Storm have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

At the plate, Collin Strickland and Braylon Mitchell did most of the damage at the plate: Strickland scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Mitchell scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Victory Christian Academy is 9-1 when Strickland posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Cuzzone, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Seffner Christian got themselves on the board against Zephyrhills Christian Academy on Monday, but Zephyrhills Christian Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.
Ryder Stephens looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Mason McBane was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Juelz Sidoti was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
The victory made it two in a row for Victory Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Seffner Christian, their record is now 12-10.
